Living is easy in the North

To live and work in the northern part of the Netherlands is a special experience. The relatively small towns, often with very beautiful historic inner cities, offer splendid housing conditions. But let's not forget the countryside. The scenery is very beautiful with many lakes, woods, wetlands and vast open spaces.  A visit to area's of natural beauty such as the so called "Wadden gebied" (the sea between the coast and the isles in the north), the "Alde Feanen"  (wetlands and small lakes) and the "Lauwersmeer " often is for many people an overwhelming experience.  That plus the many recreational and cultural facilities puts the quality of life in this part of the Netherlands on a very high standard.
